Safer workplaces mean lower L&I premiums

We are pleased to share Seattle Times' reporting that Washington workplaces are getting safer and, fingers crossed, we all get to pay less in taxes!

L&I has seen a 14% decrease in the number of on-the-job injuries between 2012 and 2017, even as our state’s workforce has grown. Fewer injuries mean lower premiums paid by workers and employers to fund L&I. Safer workplaces, additional return-to-work programs, and less expense is something we can all cheer for.
